Clean for 7 months…

Our Nespresso machine finally gave up on us, after years of making great coffee every day. We had to put him down when he started making capsules explode.
To take his place: Le Cube, a coffee machine from the future. Le Cube is pretty awesome. For something that makes coffee anyway.
Short days but long weeks..
The sun sets around 4.30pm (soon 3.45pm!) and with the depressing dark weather you could say some days are more like non-stop nights. Like today. It’s 11pm and it’s felt like that for the last 4 hours.
I can’t imagine what it must be like to live in Sweden or Norway. Or even higher up.
We skipped summer this year. Well, we had some during our trip to California, but from July till today it’s been more or less rainy. And cold. That’s kind of depressing.
Add long working days due to crunch and a lack of real weekends (I can say goodbye to my next one it seems) and it’s understandable we get grumpy, depressed and frustrated.
I do seem to miss that good portion of sun rays that puts us all in a good mood. I wonder if the lack of sun in this part of the UK is what makes all the people so angry and moody, not to mention pale! Honestly, I’ve never seen so many extremely white, unhealthy faces. They could film another Twilight movie here. The Collins wouldn’t be the handsome bunch they are now though ..
To make things worse, our Nespresso machine died.. We’ve been without coffee for a couple of days now. Awful timing! There is a new one on its way though. Let’s hope it gets here fast.
There is light at the end of this dark, humid tunnel! - it’s just very dim at this moment ..

Hardly had any sushi at Yo!Sushi (see post of while back). This cold lemon & green tea is awesome though. Anyone know if local shops sell this?
